Part 2.7

Hollis woke up the next morning to the sound of a bird outside his window.  The sun was up.  So was his morning erection.  He wondered if last night was a dream.  He turned and propped himself up on his elbow, looking at Claire’s beautiful face.  She awoke to his movement and smiled at him.  He leaned in to kiss her.
“Do you have class today?”  He asked.
Claire stretched her body out along the bed and yawned.  “Yeah, at 9:30.”
            “What classes do you take?”
“Monday and Wednesday I have a chemistry lecture.  Tuesday and Thursdays I have advanced calculus and earth history.  Fridays I have a chemistry lab.”  Claire moved her body closer to Hollis and put her arms around his torso.  He looked into her eyes.
            “Sounds tough.
            Claire shrugged.  “Not really.”
            “You’re just that good.”
“Yep,” she said.  Hollis kissed her and she ran her hand along his hard arm.  When they broke apart Claire said, “I like you, Hollis.”  She buried her face in his neck.
“I like you too, Claire,” Hollis whispered.  “I like you a lot.”  They kissed again and heard some boots stomping through the hallway and the door slamming.  Hollis looked at his clock.  It was almost 8.  “I have to be at work soon,” he told her.
She nodded and felt something smooth graze her leg.  She reached below the covers and her hand wrapped around the erection which had escaped Hollis’ shorts.  He felt it and looked at her, pushing it deeper into her hand.  She tightened her grip before letting go.
            “Sorry,” she said.
“Don’t be.”  He kissed her and rolled on top of her.  She felt his pressure on her body.  They were kissing and touching each other for a little while before Hollis got up to get ready for work.  While he was getting ready in fresh Harrison Auto gear, Claire put her clothes back on and waited.
Hollis drove her to the college entrance and before he let her go he kissed her and promised to call her that evening.  Claire walked onto campus and Hollis drove away.  On the way to her dorm room Claire was stopped by a girl with too much make-up, hairspray and fake highlights in front of a booth for a free make-over, trying to sell beauty products.  The girl pretty much singled Claire out of the passing crowd and looked hurt when Claire politely declined.  Claire figured the girl felt sad that Claire didn’t want to look like her and everyone else.  The girl should know that the people who don’t follow fashion trends don’t want to look like everyone else.  But since that girl was one of the sheep she had no idea some people didn’t want to be sheep.  Claire shook her head and kept walking.  In her dorm room she took a shower and put on a patchwork skirt made up of squares of fabric of different colors and patterns and a red sweater with sleeves that almost covered her fingertips and slowly made her way to her chemistry lecture with Hollis crowding her thoughts.
